If you wish to register as media, your application may be placed at the time of registration. Please note that registration is for Official Media Accreditation Requests ONLY. Media Accreditations will be reviewed for authenticity at Registration prior to being approved. Please ensure that you bring valid photo id and a letter from your editor in order to help assist us with the review process.
Media Accreditation will give you:
- Access to the post-rally party at the Rally Headquarters.
- Access to Drivers, Co-Drivers and Organizers for questions and interviews.
- Access to designated Media Access Areas throughout race day on November 21st, 2008.
- Access to designated Special Access Parking Areas throughout race day on Saturday November 21st, 2008.
- A Media Kit that includes a rally schedule and event information.
- Access to the Media Rides Program. Accredited members of the Media will be given rides in rally cars on a night stage on Friday, November 20th between 1930 hrs and 2030 hrs.
Please Note:
- For reasons of safety, each media person will be given a safety vest which will identify them to stage workers as well as ensure the visibility of all people on course. Any media persons not in a designated spectator area behind the safety barrier will be required to be wearing their safety vest.
- To ensure that the correct credentials and access are issued, please fill-out and review the form below for accuracy before submitting your request.
- All requests for media accreditation will be reviewed by the Rally of the Tall Pines Officials for authenticity. The Rally of the Tall Pines reserves the right to deny accreditation requests that do not meet acceptance criteria.
- Accreditation is non-transferable and must be worn by the person to whom it was originally granted. Anyone who lends his/her accreditation pass to another party will see all privileges revoked.
- Your media pass must be used for working purposes only.
- Freelance writers or photographers are not eligible to receive accreditation without a letter from the publication assigning them. This letter must include full details of the coverage planned and must be accompanied by samples of his/her published work. All applications are subject to approval.
- Confirmation will be made by email or fax. Please include email address, phone and fax numbers.
- Each accredited individual will be required to pick-up their credential in person at Rally Headquarters
- Photo ID is required for credential pick-up.
- A signed letter on company letterhead from the Editor or Head of the publication you will be representing is also required for credential pick-up.
